Gone So Long

If you've visited my blog lately, you'll notice it has been FOREVER since I have blogged.

yeah. It has.

I'm eager to get back, and eager to build back up my audience.

I left because my grandfather died..... I had lived with him, and helped take care of him for six years.

He succumbed to cancer after his 12 year battle with Alzheimers.

I'm thankful that he kept his wits and his mind about him until very close to the end....

After he died, I went through a very long phase of mental challenges.

I don't want to say 'depressed' but....it's the best description of what I went through.

I pretty much sat down in front of Netflix, eating chips and other various comfort foods

(I feel obligated to say, the chips weren't completely 'unhealthy' they were chips made out of various vegetables.... but yeah, they were still chips.)

But, I hope to be back now, and read and read and read.

Hope ya'll feel like stickin to it was worth it!

This is my favorite of favorites. It has passion, romance, but best of all, it also includes a complex world and an emotional relationship. No insta-bam-we're-in-love stories! It's perfect, sexy and romantic. Jennifer Ashley has it down to a science. I absolutely recommend this series, it's the only one that's topped the Breeds series (although they still battle it out in my mind...)I re-read this book when I feel like reading a gaurunteed winner. And, just for this occasion, I'm giving it the coveted PINK LEMONADE! whoo!

*flips page,**book starts sizzling* Hot HOt HOT!! *drops book* I'm giving it 5 lemonades upfront! Talk about toe-curlers! While The Breeds series lacks a little bit emotionally, it totally makes up for it with the scenes. Lora is a naughty girl, in all righteous ways. These books are what really got me into erotica and they are only topped by one other series I'll cover on Sunday. Callan is *shivers* oh yeah. I needed way more than 5 glasses of lemonade. you'll need some cold water to read this book. I'm so surprised it didn't burn into my computer screen. I re-read this series when I'm in the mood. Definite Musk-I mean Must Read.

Whew! While at first I wasn't so certain about the whole huge age difference between the two characters, I wanted to stick with it for the recommendations I'd had! I'm glad I did, While it has a little bit of shifty writing, when it just seems a little off, I ended up loving it. Blake is smokin' and what Jaxi does in the beginning is hilariously devious. I almost gave it a four lemonade, but it's totally worth 5.  One thing I also think is awesome is the unique names. I see a lot of Colt's on the ranche's out there but Jaxi and Blake are pretty unique names. Way to go Vivian! I'm wondering who will end up my favorite author...hm..I'll have to have a billion sub-genre's so I can decide haha!

ohh yeah. this book really hits the spot. In more ways than one, you know, so many erotica authors concentrate on the sex and just forget a relationship in the process. While I've seen authors with more skill, Dana is hard to top. This book is one of the very few perfect shifter stories. I get kind of bubbly about Max, he's hot, he's a shifter, and he knows his way around*eyebrow wiggle*! I like the alpha type, but not when they are...brutish (almost typed Buttish...that too!) you know? But this is a perfect balance.
